The Tikka Plus 2 is a real lightweight, unlike other manufacturers. With inlaid Batteriene (2xAAA) it weighs just 80g. The lamp fits comfortably on the head, and when running it is barely noticeable. The wide headband is pleasant to the touch and is generously and rapidly adjustable. The Tikka Plus 2 has two different light sources. One white, high-output LED and one red LED. The white LED has three different lighting levels: dimmed, full power and flashing light. The red LED has two lighting modes: on and flashing. Since I only use the Tikka only up and running, I'll be here with the white LED completely out. The first stage (and thus also the brightest) light up each forest road from sufficient, the second stage (dimmed) is sufficient for all the side streets and normal ways out. The flashing step is not used and is in my opinion unnecessary. The red LED I do not need as a runner, but is very interesting for geocachers because while reading the red LED displays and produces a pleasant reading light. From a performance point I can report anything negative. I use this lamp for 6 weeks (2-3 times a week at approx 40-60 minutes) and the light output has not yet been reduced. All in all there is of me full credit, since handling, weight, purchase price, etc. is absolutely okay.
