Pretty long I've been wrestling with the decision, so zuzulegen a roasting pan, but then hesitated because of the price for a long time. My old roaster was no longer usable, unfortunately, after the switch to induction. After I tried frantically again in my "normal" WMF meat pot frying goulash and hardly able to reach an external browning of the flesh, because shortly after I give it to the oil every time is given as much water from the meat, that I Pour hundred and it must not get brown at the end. When the pot was just entered goulash day, so I got him the same full voltage tested. Lo and behold, I could not believe it, the meat into the hot oil and immediately it was externally seared nicely browned. Neither it has adhered to the floor pan, the onions are still the burnt simultaneously came into the pot, everything awesome, just like it should be. I am extremely enthusiastic and have again need to realize that the right work equipment often already is half the battle. How long do I now sat down with the old meat pot that does not really fit for the hot searing, tormented.
Next week I'll test the roasting pan then in the oven, but I'm already sure that I'll be just as happy. It can also be totally super clean otherwise. I got it not done in the dishwasher, but quickly rinsed with hand, it was not taped, everything went very easy and especially quick to clean ..... great. The only slight downside for me (but that is dependent stove), because the pot is so big, it's almost too big for the hob. Ie a quarter of the pot was not heat properly. I have the problem then easily solved about the fact that I have mitangeschaltet the hotplate overlying and in the way's it has worked out fine.
Oh and last but not least there was a Bratthermometer and a Flexi whisk by WMF free when buying the pot to do so. What more do you want? Conclusion: A good and worthwhile purchase!
