Who on well-crafted and entertaining instrumental - is music with synthesizers and guitar, comes this debut album of Australian guitarist TERRY MARSHALL probably over barely. Loose Grooves and basslines combined with harmonic synthesizer sounds and the incomparable sound of the Fender Strat Guitar bring the listener the relaxed and unemotional way of life of this continent and its inhabitants in homey's living room. The metropolitan areas of Australia - always on the move, always pulsating, yet never exaggerated hectic. Pure Australian way of life precisely. The very first track "High Days & Holidays" gives us a sense of life on this. And then there's also the other side of Australia: the Outback with its infinite size and width, its rain forests, its natural spectacles and indigenous people. Breathtaking scenery far away from big cities and from civilization - places where you can hardly be closer to the Earth well ... These impressions are reflected probably the best in the track "Outland Train" resist. But even the largest metropolises come sometime to rest, even if they never sleep ... At the latest when the silhouettes of the city sinking into the sunset and the setting sun is reflected in the glass facades of skyscrapers. Impressions that especially the last track of this album, "Translucent" gives us. At times reminiscent of the musical style of this beautiful album of music by Frank Fischer, megabytes or DANCING FANTASY. "Ashra Rising" invites you to relaxed listening, relax and dream.
