I use the miso paste particularly happy for sauces that are to get a typical "cheese taste", such as a Alfredosauce with cashew nuts and nutritional yeast or a sauce for vegan "Mac and Cheese". Also for Asian Misosuppen with fresh vegetables and other side dishes such as fried tofu cubes or pasta paste is well suited.
I would recommend the paste especially people who do not yet have experience with miso and want to grope until the salty taste of the paste. The dark variant has then but a very strong flavor compared and you have to be a bit familiar with the taste. The light version has a slightly sweet flavor and can be in contrast to the dark paste also higher doses, without being too intrusive directly.
For the price, the paste is also an absolute buy recommendation, since one in the organic market for some miso paste sometimes can pay just 10 euro quickly. As entry-level product, or even for the regular purchase highly recommended!
