Net TV has never been pleasure as with the remote control to use uncomfortable and since the films mediatheques often discontinued after a few minutes and a fast-forward to a new start does not work either. I have returned to my wireless and the device then uses little, until I became a subscriber in 2013 LOVEFiLM in March and thus was able to test the DVD playback.
So far I have 20 DVD's - for the most part Blu-Rays - play, so still not intensive use. The play usually broke off after one hour and the unit was to revive only by pulling the power plug again. Unfortunately, I have failed to claim the device time to the service. Most recently, the activation of Net TV from the main menu leads each time to an immediate crash.
From various posts on the forums I gather, the more firmware updates do not resolve the error, but lead to further problems, so I did not do so.
This device was an absolute bad buy and because I gather the forums that Philips firmware error does not come to grips with for years, I'm going to do in the future a wide berth this brand.
