As I previously on most cameras that I use, a review also here to write an NX Mini.
The very first impression in a "retail": very small, more like a compact camera, very light and thin and the 9mmPancakeobjektiv it fits well in the pocket of jeans.
I bought a black with 9-27mm optical 3fachzoom (errors in the Amazon product description) to the test as small camera on the go, which if necessary in a shirt, trouser. Laptop and pocket fits.
The Mini comes in many colors, some of which are certainly less appeal to the tradional camera lovers, because to convey fashionable chick. As a "fashionable Accescior" the Mini is also trying to position especially in Asia

The LCD has a very stable attachment and can be 180 degrees to fold up (and so offer the currently hyped Selfiefunktionen without which today yes no camera manages). That's the only works up not bad, because the Mini is so easy that you simply turns for overhead shots ;-)
The Mini is a camera with interchangeable lenses and a new bayonet NX-M, since it can be used via an adapter with the APS NX lenses. As is known by most Nikon "1" lenses lack the well-made 9 and 9-27mm lens focus ring. Therefore, manual focus is possible by using the key, but not really practical.
On the subject of image quality:
The sensor in the mini corresponds to the size of the sensor in the Nikon "1", Sony RX100 / 10 and the new FZ1000 by Panasonic and is definitely smaller than the sensor in the big NX, but it's amazingly powerful. The lenses are to resolve the 20MPixel able and the Mini has a wide sensitivity range is highly dynamic. Lt measurements in magazines is the very high resolution, but tends to about sharpening a crisper display.
However, here engages in the Mini Samsung to stronger denoising (as actually in my view necessary, but probably target groups-oriented) and from ISO1600 in the OOC JPEG are the details thus disbanded worse. If you use the included Adobe Lightroom V5 software and processed as RAW images, but you can get usable images to ISO6400 (!). Conclusion for me: not my preferred camera (I need something to grab), but it is small, makes very good pictures in a quality the APS-C sensors before about 5 years have delivered. Therefore, for me almost 4 star. But I hope that Samsung this concept ev, builds a EX2 successor ... and then additional lenses (such as the announced F1.7 / 17mm nachlegt)
