Quantum leaps in XAVC S - mode?
To test this mode, I had to even set a microSDXC. (Use a SanDisk Extreme (64GB) - maybe it would have done an Ultra, but the 10 Euro charge have now also agreed not much and you have a little air "up" for future cases.)
At first glance, you win in this mode, again a bit more brilliance and "Oho" effect.
With the 64-GB version is so acc. Display about 2 hours and 40 minutes possible (1080, 60p).
Software - make it work smoothly?
With the Galaxy Tab (Android): After the software was installed, the Cam was immediately recognized. After countless "rumgespiele" with the individual functions remain few Kritikpunte. On the one hand it is annoying that you look once more into the new has to click Settings menu after each change or click on an option in the settings. It also seems impatient users certainly annoying when the software do not want to connect right away with the camera. Here, however, always helps: first turn on the camera, then launch the app!
Windows 7 (64-bit): The software was quickly downloaded and installed. One nice thing is the "Action Cam Movie Creator". For recorded GPS data you can display all kinds of interesting data on its route so. (See photo) The menu in this program is suitable for everyone.
Unfortunately, leave films in XAVC S - recorded mode, not play easily on Samsung Smart TV's. Here, the film must be stored in a different mode, or be converted.
Conclusion
The camera in bright light crisp sharp images; even with moderate light conditions in buildings they know to convince. The GPS function has continuously recorded on our test "outdoor" a signal and is a really nice addition to the later film processing. The operation of the camera without need App patience and could prove to be tricky, if you take does not have the manual handy. By the way: I have looked through my books and think it advisable to give yourself by trying out a survey. In addition, the enclosed housing is a nice feature, which will in time yet tried :-)
Let's see how the camera will prove in the long-term test - an update is sure to follow!
