Fog (Paperback)

Customer Review

"It just remains for me years / maybe even a few days / to illuminate dark corners / a perverted existence," wrote Jean-Claude Pirotte in his latest poetry collection "Common grazing." Perhaps he was thinking of his youth, between 18 and 25 years, recorded in notebooks which he extracts the frame "Fog". So these books are as a draft that allow Pirotte few decades later and engaged in a chemotherapy through the fog of time and recover the freshness of sensation, sharp edges of free young man, he was impulsive and generous and seems essentially, be stayed. A young man above all fond of literature, the only love that is worth it-te seems beyond families / prisons and risky dating.
Read the biography of Pirotte it is surprising to see that this basically free man has all his life been dealing with the risk of prison. Basically Pirotte like playing with the boundaries, borders, memorable cooked, family and friendship ties ... There is a bit of everything in this book but no matter the plot. "Fog" is ranked among the novels because it tells a story in prose but what makes his interest is the experience of writing and meeting both distanced and warm with this enigmatic narrator including "the there has never been a succession of drafts. "
It is sometimes a little bitter, or too modest, Jean-Claude Pirotte "How finally get rid of the nagging feeling that haunts me to have learned nothing, but to have made cabotage along the banks of knowledge" . "I have known happiness, I fled. I did not know what face he showed. Dissatisfied, guilty, here I am declining to snow time of repentance and heavy laden weight of an existence I believed freed and which was only rehashing. " Sometimes you just want to surround the shoulders of the big man full of doubt and in combat and to tell him how important his words for its readers because it is true.
