Crystal Castles (Audio CD)

Customer Review

Crystal Castles, duo from Toronto, Canada, there have already been brought to an appearance in the britishen cult series "Skins".
Now they put in front of her self-titled debut; a wild mix of Gameboy gefiepse, brachial samples, and distorted vowel.
Although the songs on Crystal Castles can be roughly divided into 2 divisions (brachial, such as "Alice Practice" or "love and caring" and rather chilly as "Untrust Us" odeer "Vanished"), it sounds like a unified whole. This is perhaps the fact that the same elements are often used, but that does not stand out negatively, CC does not repeat itself, and each track has its own strong character.
Only "good times" is weakening somewhat, you could leave it quiet, there remain enough premium tracks.
The only pity is that they were ignored by the local media until now, just GoTV times has it as part of the "indie charts" the video for "Courtship Dating" (which in my personal opinion but would have something better can be done) to play.

An intriguing, but relatively easily accessible Debut difficult to know !!!
