I have received, as expected, an original packaging of Samsung, as I know you also from local dealer ago. The package was sealed by a transparent adhesive tape and thus unopened. First, then everything is okay.
Both the packaging and the charging cable (specifically the cigarette lighter plug) refer to the advertised 2 amps charge current.
Enclosed my keyword-like review:
+ Positive

+ Charging cable consists of two separate parts, USB / microUSB cable and the actual car charger adapter. This saves quasi money, once a part should go broke
+ Processed purely visually see the whole in the matt black quite good, also looks discreet and certainly not cheap and so far also clean
+ USB / microUSB cable is far longer than the current Samsung smartphones enclosed charging cable, too short, it will be in no car (estimated 1.5 meters)
+ With around EUR 15.00 (initially) a quite attractive offer
~ I would have liked it better if the cable would be curled (coiled cord), by executing a normal, elongated cable the cable can be when not in use not as nice stow in the car and simply needs more space
~ For my personal design in the car, the USB / microUSB cable is much too long, which simply looks not as nice in operation and may well also interfere when switching
~ The charger does not light that shows the charging status
- The charging cable has definitely not a charging current rate of 2 amps: my smartphone needs with the original home-PSU 1.5 hours full charge (!). With this car charger, however, my unit was 1-hour drive loaded only 20%! When using the GPS-based navigation in the smartphone battery level after driving was significantly lower than estimated before departure - despite plugged-charging cable and the charge level from 89% to 77% lower (!)
- The charger has apparently and unfortunately a very unfavorable shape: the causes of the loader often pops out easily from the cigarette lighter and thus interference of the charging process is interrupted
My rating of only 2 stars arises (hopefully understandable) from the serious fact that while the charger is charging, but clearly too slow and certainly not the minimum expectations, let alone according to expectations in view. I was briefly tended to assign only 1 star, but the contrary of my review that the cable some, has reclaimed a few and minor but positive aspects. For an original Samsung products proffered here power is incredibly miserable and disappointing.
