Did the holder has been going around 2 months of use. Mechanically, she's fine, the Samsung Galaxy S is well established and secure, and the bracket is secured to the windshield.
The roll mechanism for charging cable is convenient when you need the cable only from time to time. In the long run annoying the Einsteckerei.

However: The charging current is too low. Normally, GPS and Internet connection is required, yet is not enough charging current for an appreciable cargo. I'm using an external GPS, and thus save a current for the GPS receiver, but need in addition switched on Bluetooth - with the result that the Galaxy will discharge very slowly but steadily.

==> For people need more than a trickle of battery level and depend on the loading in the car: hands off.

Property me now the original Samsung Holder ordered and hope there more charging current.
