The thermal container keeps food very long warm. I have been sometimes been amazed when I think about some tea thermos. Only the cleaning is by the silicone gasket and the groove in the cover is not as easy. I can not rule out the build up remnants of food in the cover vent hole and can not be thoroughly washed out.
