looking not quite

The lens arrived on time with the new EOS 70D, the image results are not so great for me. I have deer in free
Wild photographed, unfortunately, I had to constantly make improvements to the "Distance Ring". Instead infinity the lens was in
6-8 meters and the deer were "mushy", instead of "hot" in the image. Using the distance ring was Nachstellar.
I will continue to try.
