After much trying, we have found this "slider" and have more resignation than ordered him out of conviction. Chromed plastic was not our first choice, but the related market are not much to look at a rod diameter of 18 mm. Short and sweet ... easily installed for rapid delivery ... looks much better on the shower rod than expected and the main advantage is that this slider has two parking options - a and for determining the raising and lowering of the bar itself one for setting the shower head.
