As with many a not original Apple cable (I've got a long series of tests behind me) it's ach here so that you have to turn the cable so that the charge process begins. As was well saved to contacts on one side.
Nevertheless - it works and looks visually awesome. Just the color of my loved ones. Woman happy, I happy cat happy :)
