With LOUD she lets it all behind him. With new setting, gaudy hair color and new style Rihanna is (again) back! With their highly anticipated, now already 5th studio album her a hit has succeeded again, in which they can show what Wür a force lies in her voice.
[That they live not allersicherste singer is I do not deny, but who offers the public a musical interlude with song and dance eventually, must not be convicted if the voice does not always sit with every note. Only Rihanna's colleague and friend Katy Perry Just look at yourself - I do not think seeing a live performance of her in which not at least 5 tones were next ... So much for critics of their live performances - only to be fair]
S & M - 10/10
The first track on the album is simply a dance number that goes into the ear. Crazy, noisy, dirty. You can say what you want, but you will be provided with at least one foot, the music "mittanzt" catch. ;)
This song is also intended as the third single from the album.
What's My Name feat. Drake- 8/10
The second single is distinguished by its steady beat and the chorus. The Bridge is my favorite part ... because the melody is just right!
Cheers (Drink To That) - 7/10
With Avril Lavigne's voice in the background (with a "part" of their hit "I'm With You") Cheers is a fun, funny, happy song that fits well into the album.
Fading - 9/10
One of my favorite songs of the album. The beginning may seem to some known - it is the (slightly edited) Introduction for the song "One By One" by Enya. Here the melody is perfect for dreaming, a song can be heard on rainy days - pleasantly sentimental.
Only Girl (In The World) - 10/10
Some songs you hear once and is the same as captured. The chorus you sure will not forget so quickly. Rightly the first single.
California King Bed - 8/10
Another very pleasant number of the album. Rihanna's voice and the guitar harmonize very well with each other.
Man Down - 8/10
"Man Down" is a number in which you may Rihanna's roots in her voice and the way in which she sings the song hear, (Rihanna was born in 1988 in Saint Michael, Barbados). Sounds very much like reggae, beach and sunshine - even if the text fits less likely)
Raining Men - 7/10
I am now not the huge Nicki Minaj fan, so I like the song not so good. But the more I hear, the more I like beat and general sentiment that brings across the song - presumably it's just me but I would see it as a song that one as I said like only after repeated listening.
Complicated - 10/10
My absolute favorite track. Rihanna shows that she has a power in his voice. Whenever I hear this song, I imagine a long road in front, left and right an avenue of trees that have lost their leaves, on the street is someone, the sky is deep blue and dotted with twinkling stars.
Here Rihanna has just done everything right. I also find the text of the profound (without that you think now, I'm the great philosopher: P) Especially the beginning, "You're not easy to love, No, You're Not Easy To Love, .." has it did to me - sometimes I think about lyrics not to, here I do not get around it - it just like me.
Skin - 7/10
The only song that does not want to go into my ear really me. An even more somber mood, characterized the song would in my opinion rather the previous album "Rated R." fitted. Certainly a number to switch off ... if you're in the mood ...
Edit (15/11/2010): Did the song now often listened to and have to say that fared similarly to "Raining Men" me - I hear it more often, I like it more. It's really a song that you can hear at home on the couch, close your eyes and relax ... change from 6 to 7/10 points. =)
Love The Way You Lie Part II (feat Eminem.) - 10/10
The beat is a bit slower than in Part I, which is probably known to everyone from the radio. In Part I it is Eminem, who leads us through the verses, accompanied Rihanna only in the chorus. Here it is almost umkekehrt: Rihanna sings the verses and the chorus, Eminem raps a longer part, the text of which really gets under your Today. Also one of the top songs of this album.
CONCLUSION: The new "era" of Rihanna has begun. LOUD LOUD is simple. Rihanna has in my opinion really created an album in which fits virtually every track.
"For me, LOUD is cheeky, funny, flirty, full of energy." Rihanna says about the album title.
I agree with you!
Go LOUD! : D
PS I am surprised only that it was "Who's That Chick" feat. David Guetta has not make it onto the album - would in my opinion maybe "Skin" replaced meaningful.
