Low budget version of the 5000 series

I have since 2 years two Burgwächter TSE 5002 very satisfied and am running. The locks work very reliably. Battery consumption low - change about every 12 months required.
-Top Comfort to no longer need the house keys.
So I was glad that there is now a cheaper variant and bought to another door so this hedge. Unfortunately, the lower price makes also clearly noticeable.

Differences System 5002 (now 5012):
1.- the knob with the batteries and the logic is now the outside knob exposed (the 5000 System of internal knob) He is at risk of vandalism. Each one Allen wrench has can remove the batteries. Then, although the door is still locked, but can also be of me no longer open! (This one has probably done because there are no mechanical emergency during 4001 more so in an emergency, the batteries can be exchanged from the outside.)

But I think this is just a disadvantage, especially as the battery replacement warning works well and you have enough time to change the batteries when they get tired! The L ogik heard in the inside knob so that it is protected against vandalism. On one of my 5002er castles I had damage to the outer knob, but was not a problem, the door has the Vandal not get open and I got in anyway. The passive knob could be replaced inexpensively.

2.- At the system while 6 users can be logged, as opposed to 5000 but only one numeric code may be assigned. (In 5000 this are more than 10), the other 5 users must be electronic remote control key, but the key I will no longer need to take yes!

3.- Both indoor and outside knob are made of lightweight plastic and make the 4001 compared to the 5000 system a fragile impression.

Overall, I think the burglar resistance of the electronic lock for very good.
- A time-out after repeated incorrect entry is a "cracking" excluded by trial and error.
- Although violence leads to the destruction of the castle, the door is then far from open. More likely to lead to violence that they no longer comes into it.
- Since you can not lose any more key safety is probably even higher than with a conventional locking cylinder. (The so basically can be broken even - a key service needs for only a few minutes)

I have the 4001 yet installed what worked without problems as with the 5000 systems. The configuration was easily. So far, it works just as well. I have a star subtracted because I see the danger of vandalism on the outer knob, which then can not be replaced. The castle is definitely destroyed when the outside knob has been destroyed!

Had I known that before, I would have bought a TSE 5011, even if it is with approximately 250, - is almost twice as expensive. Again 100, - more for the fingerprint sensor of 5012 I would not spend more comfortable today.
