The Protector is almost perfect, found no light loss or distortion, while much cheaper than an original (Nikon). Still, it's not a cheap commodity, but first-class workmanship and delivered in practical protective plastic. An advantage is the low height, though the lens cover snaps difficult due to the short front thread - Both excludes to me was the height important therefore perfect score.
