The supplied card is a TL-WN851ND. This is a 802.11n PCI Board: careful not to be confused with PCI-E format that is totally incompatible. It uses the low profile form factor. Besides the two small antennas, there are two brackets in the box, one on the full-size file (installed by default) and the other in low profile format. The transition from one to the other takes only a few seconds (bring a screwdriver); housings owners "slim" will be delighted.
Once in place in the housing, the TP-Link card works natively on Fedora 20 and Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. In the case of Ubuntu, it is even used for a procedure netinstall via mini.iso. Unlike some other reviews, I did not notice any particular change in flow between this and the one I was using before.
