By design, the Slingshot is open on two sides, namely on the side and top, rather than like normal photo bags just above. Thus, the classification options are limited and I have yet to have to play around with any pocket until I have found a workable schedule. As I have so often changed the schedule, the interior looks quite used, as in my camera bag for several years. In the divisions, I would have still required in half the size.
If you have slung the bag and pulled forward, you come only from the side of the equipment, and there again, only to the middle compartment really comfortable where normally the camera is there. If you want to open the bag completely, so the sides and top, you have to settle it yet. So you have to divide the bag so that the most important things are laterally accessible, so ideally, three open pockets on the side. Then it is but a little unstable. So I'm stuck with the standard classification and must now always open for one of the other trays above the hook and loop fastener, if I want to change a lens.
The comfort at a moderate equipment (DSLR, standard zoom, telephoto, flash, accessories) is surprisingly good. Definitely better than a normal camera bag, although unlike a real photo backpack, the weight is only on one shoulder. Also contributes to the lateral belt, with which one fixes the pocket. But this needs to be resolved if you want pull open the pocket to the front, but this is not a problem and is very fast.
Many small details show that the concept of bag is very well thought out. Small pockets for memory cards, a belt ensures that you do not accidentally hit the zips opens so far that unintentionally rises the upper opening, built-in rain protection, etc. The zippers make a good impression. As often separates the wheat from the chaff in his pockets, as is often saved here.
The 200 is the ideal size for me. In the smaller is not enough clean, in the larger picture so much that it personally difficult would me. As would be a photo backpack more comfortable. Except, of course, one does in only minor things.
Although I have written about some of my opinion, serious negative points, I forgive still full marks, as these relate to the design together and I did not know how to solve it differently. If you want to have the comfort of the Slingshot, you unfortunately have to live with it.
