Crystal Castles, duo from Toronto, Canada, there have already been brought to an appearance in the britishen cult series "Skins". Now they put in front of her self-titled debut; a wild mix of Gameboy Gefiepse, blustering samples and distorted vocals. Although one can roughly be divided into 2 categories the songs on Crystal Castles (brutal, as "Alice Practice" or "love and caring" and more electro how "Untrust Us" or "vanished"), it sounds like a unified whole. This is perhaps the fact that the same elements are often used, but it does not fall on a negative, CC does not repeat itself. Only "good times" is weakening somewhat, you could leave it quiet, there remain enough premium tracks. The only pity is that they were ignored by the local media until now, just GoTV times has it as part of the "indie charts" the video for "Courtship Dating" (which in my personal opinion but would have something better can be done) to play.
Let's see if there will be a successor. This album has something (I just do not know what) so perfect to the point that it schwerfaellt to imagine a second album CC ..... nevertheless hope on further development and no drug-related death of early Alice Glass.
