Previously, I had the Beyerdynamic DT 990 250 Ohm and the difference is, in fact, not so serious in that the additional cost would be worth it definitely. However, the T1 still sounds a touch better, and has better resolution. Description of sound qualities I find it rather difficult, but who has heard the T1, know what I mean!
Those looking for the best value for money, is safe here at the wrong address, but there are performance extremely. In addition, the included hard-shell case is very solid and is perfect for this top-quality product. The look and feel of the T1 are beyond doubt, especially the slightly roughened outside of the earcups liked me a lot.
The speakers provide sound a little from the front, what's "in-head" feeling when headphones reduce something and I say - this works to a certain degree!
A resolution surround a gigantic 7.1 sound system can not simulate the natural T1; he must not, however, also! After all its qualities are widely held - regardless of whether bass heavy music, electronic sound, RnB or demanding classical - he plays always balanced and never crunches, even at maximum volume.
I run the T1 on DHC by Asus - the Xonar Essence One. Together they form a powerful duo, and hopefully many more years!
From me there are very clear 5 of 5 stars and the top product award in its performance class!
