The first few months we were completely satisfied with our washing machine. Until after 10 months !!! a finger wide tube of the gasket replaced. In the belief that this simply be a material error and thus be a warranty case, we ordered the service center. We were told that this could only occur through an operator error and therefore not covered by the warranty, a new collar costs about 200, as a goodwill gesture they offered us a repair for 104 ... Of course, I did not see one for a machine that no year old and now corresponds to the acquisition nciht the lowest price, to invest so much money, no error especially as I am aware. Siemens remained, we would also, in the event that we would have rejected this great offer, have to pay in any case 69 for the cost estimate. And the machine would still be still broken ... so we had no choice but to take this great offer, I feel the approach but as impertinence. Comparing the seal with the other washing machines, we notice that the gap is much wider than that of many others in the Siemens machine. The declaration of Siemens's that wash small parts lay down other in this gap. Is me with my 3 other washing machines, which I had so far, never happened, that by "stray" wash parts or zippers (Declaration No. 2 from Siemens) the cuff is damaged beyond repair. On the web you do not have to look far to find accurately described this defect and the approach of Siemens; are all these people not to be able to use a washing machine without the cuff is destroyed ??? My personal conclusion is that I will never buy a machine from Siemens.
