The phone screen rotates when it is placed on the station, but this does not change your existing settings so that when you pull in, automatic rotation back to the previous setting whatsoever.
It is light but well made. At this price, it is unfortunate that there are no cable included but you can just use the standard micro-USB cable that came with the phone.
