Customer Review

This phrase could summarize this book alone:
"It's not because we are ignorant that we are not cultivable. Just find a good gardener. If it is bad, which was not the fingering, it spoils you. "

Germain, 45, did not invent gunpowder. He can barely read and makes bad jokes to his friends at the bar. His mother often criticized for being born and yet he lives in a caravan at the bottom of his garden, knows why. One day, going to the park, he meets Margueritte, 86, with whom he became friends. She even manages to make her love of reading and begins to use the dictionary to grow and make her proud too. Appointments "educational" to the park multiply, Germain attaches much to Margueritte, and it's mutual. Everyone brings something to the other and that is what is beautiful. That simplicity and complicity.

I loved the tone used by Germain, bluntly, he frankly tells it like it is with such a natural that it's fun to read, it's even smile. Margueritte, she realizes that the observations of Germain on life are not trivial and evolve in the right direction; she does not hesitate to help him progress in his way, and it manages them both. It's funny and tender: it is heartwarming. I think everyone should read this book.
