After both dealers and Dell had confirmed the compatibility to my Precision M6500, I dared to buy this card. Users of the same notebook, be warned:
Without the glorious internet you get the card in an M6500 not running. Both drivers and dial-up software must be "organized".
The drivers are in the unofficial Dell forum and than dial-up software I use MWconn.

Unbelievable what problems caused Dell in the field WWAN. Since you can're working on! Therefore, two points from the manufacturer!
Amazon and dealers are not to blame. The settlement was impeccable.

After accompanying the card finally up and running, it obviously works.

Recommendation:
Owners of Dell notebook should look at the driver homepage, if the driver for the 5530 is available. Unfortunately, the installation software checks this compatibility.
