With a lexmak S405 printer, I tried compatible cartridges. I bought this pack and I started using integrating XL black cartridge. It worked at first, but when the printer is unused for a few days (one truth), proceed to a resettlement and a new alignment for the ink supply working again. This happened repeatedly. To believe that the ink dries very quickly on the printhead unlike the original cartridges. I hope that the use of color cartridges (which I have not yet installed) nor alter the operation of my printer. Is it a faulty cartridge? The future will tell me but for now I am very disappointed especially as each cleaning or realignment I consumes ink (black and color) unnecessarily so no real economy. I put 3 stars just for the color quality.
