The carafe is stylish, looks good and serves its purpose. Due to many negative review I was skeptical, but just before Christmas I was able to make a super bargain at Cyber Monday and had slammed (as my girlfriend for some time because of the carafe in the ears lay). The workmanship is top quality and the design is foolproof, at least if you read the operating instructions for the cover and has common sense. I understand why so many the cover as "faulty design" call "pure water, cover druff" does not work ... but that's what the manual that explains how it works. If you can easily rotate the cover when inserting (like a screw cap) keeps the lid as it should. The lid does not shoot its contents out when pouring ... when I imagine how here seem to use the carafe some whiners ... so peppy I can not pour in that the lid would shoot out with content. Because I would rather radius cause a mess in 1 meter as targeted pouring into a glass. A little tip on the edge, so towards common sense: if the rubber seals is wet and the carafe by filling also is understandable that the lid does not bombs stuck. Moisture, glass, rubber ... more you must not say (which, probably for the whiners: Tags physics friction ... Just look up or google). The glass thickness is sufficient and I am sorry examined because my bitch can almost any quality, thin-walled wine glass accidentally destroy. When carafe I previously did not see any concerns. Again, the matter of the human mind ... Glass is fragile and just wants to be treated accordingly. If I do that part in the dishwasher or it propose to the tap, I do not have to be surprised. From me there (because I read manuals and am blessed with common sense) a strong buy recommendation!
