I purchased the adapter to connect a Meyer-Gorlitz Orestegor300mm Tele my Nikon cameras. For Adapter: as mentioned in the previous review, we see reflections in difficult lighting conditions (Backlight, sloping Gegenlicht30 °); added: old lenses can deal worse with difficult lighting conditions, as modern (no ED glass, no nanocoating, other or no lens coating), so it is possible (with) to the optics-anyway I'll adapter inside with matt black Revell -Color anpinseln. At the lens it is firmly really good, the camera is a little movement to feel (but this objective is indeed a 2.3kg tank). The built-in lens is even tempered (+), but is in my copy small stains on the surface, which I could not wipe the floor (-) But the picture after all, do not bother recognizable. Perfect on the D90 in the image at the F100 show vignetting-the question arises, whether generated by the correction lens. (A medium format lens should yes to small screen actually not vignetting). All in all a solid gefretigtes small device, which performs the task of M42 to Nikon F with Unendlichscharfstellung. At least the moon I got sharp. Recommended. (I can no experience with the visor pins of M42 lenses report that Meyer Orestegor has no automatic diaphragm mechanism.)
