Solid-looking envelope, however, the model delivered me had a manufacturing defect

Only with a thin frame to protect the idea of ​​the Galaxy S5 against drop damage, I found very good from the outset, since it is precisely the chrome frame was quickly affected by my previous Samsung phones. With this envelope so I hoped for the mobile (or at least its border) in mild falls to protect, without the shell all too much brushing or the water tightness of the S5 is no longer guaranteed.

Positive noticed about the product to me:

- The delivery (within two days was the shell super packed in my mailbox)
- Stability: even if I have not dropped the phone, I have the impression that the shell would protect the phone well, because it acts very solid
- There are no sharp edges or corners: the chrome frame will therefore not be damaged by the cover.
- Supplied accessories: a screwdriver, two screen protectors (settled attach very easy and bubble-free), and a water-resistant shell (the S5 not fit in, since it anyway is already waterproof, the shell can, for example, fine as documents envelope while traveling use)
- The simple attachment of the casing

On the negative side, however, I have:

- The contradictory product photos in the Amazon description: in the supplied envelope is a cover with cutouts for buttons, not - as seen in some pictures - the version with own keys in the envelope
- At the screw location of the shell creates a smaller gap once it is attached to the phone. Thus, the shell does not sit perfectly, which means that you can not fully tighten the screws. The shell dissolved itself as soon as I took the phone in his hand, a fall could be an envelope with this manufacturing defects hardly mitigated.

Therefore I have decided to return the envelope and instead to order a model with a front zip closure. Although this is probably is only an error in the production, I hope that the shell with snap lock has at least your own buttons that visually easy hermachen much more than the cut-outs in my shell.

The former settlement of the complaint process went smoothly, but I find it a shame that in the case of a complaint must bear the return shipping costs themselves.
