Not good, but totally impractical however, I found the monthly statements of the two previous models, which I criticized in my former review (unfortunately allowed Amazon no separate reviews of the various issues, so there is the text of the original review appended below). The manufacturer seems to be capable of learning and to respond to criticism. He has the "box sides" abolished and has returned to the previous version.
Now, again (as it was already up to 2010) for the current and the following year two months side by side on one side, with one row for each day, and due no later than the end of the year planning for the next year we can accommodate meaningful again.
Therefore the calendar for the 2013er edition of gets me back to fourth star.
However, the price in Germany is still too high. As I have seen, the thing will cost in the US just $ 10 (
In addition to the already mentioned in the original review Pen Holder of "Leuchtturm 1917" still a little tip: With a bit of colorless nail polish, you can prevent the end of the ribbon on the "unraveling".

2011 version: Verschlimmbesserung
This year I bought this calendar again, I (left side one week right side space for notes) still very appreciate for its layout.
Unfortunately, the 2011 version is no improvement compared to previous years: The ribbon is lommeliger, the paper seems to me not so good before.
Above all: The new monthly statements (one page per month, every day is a box) I find the pocket-sized pretty useless (for larger sizes like that make sense), that compared to previous years (there were for the current and the following year two months each abreast on one side, with one row per day) the planning for the next year is it completely eliminated, I think is absolutely absurd - where to the year at the general planning for next year to go?
The manufacturer: Please bring in the next issue at least one double page (= four months) back for the beginning of next year in the old format!
Another tip: Disturbing in this and other pocket diaries for me is the lack of pen holder. Recently I have a einklebbaren Pen Holder of "Leuchtturm 1917" discovered in the retail sector, which is perfectly fit to Moleskines. Incidentally, there is also of the lighthouse from a different calendar.
