However, I was missing just in Action / blockbuster area still oomph in the living room, so I then deliberately looked around to sound bars with external subwoofer. This I have found here!
Sony's brand image has suffered from the rising competition in recent years, something the more I was surprised by the akuraten workmanship. The Soundbar is very difficult, thereby visually but graceful and the subwoofer is sleek, slim and black.
The remote control is not a design highlight with its velvet knobs diversity. But it is clear strukturert and fits comfortably in your hand.
Connects you have several options. In Sony-universe there is a Smart-Link, as it also provides Philips with his boxing, for others there are an optical input, 3 HDMI's and Bluetooth and for older semesters still an analog connection. For the optical one needs almost no technical sense. Thus, the optical with included cable is laid quickly between Soundbar and TV. So not fret because accessories missing, but simply completely carefree. The sub will be closed only on electricity. The wireless connection worked with me right away.
Integrated is an Auto On / Off function. If this is turned on, the soundbar will automatically turn on when the TV is turned off, the soundbar will automatically turn off. The Bose can not and Philips only the house with other Philips EasyLink devices that LG bill perfectly. Unfortunately does not work with the Sony via optical cable frequently turning on, so that there can be done by the remote control. With HDMI with backchannel I have with my Philips TV no problems.
Very encouraging is also the sound of Sony. Due to the many setting possibilities can be seen on film, sports, language set (in different variations) and not disturbing night mode. The centers are clean, the bass fed without rumble and noise to Movie also with decent oomph, overall a very full round sound without as the Philips or the Bose pale to be in talks. Here you can tell the differences in each set sound even during normal TV.
The different modes are well explained in the concise manual. For older people, the different modes of language should be of interest, which are then each more clearly.
I am delighted that the display and the control LED is dim, and can even turn off. That can not be in all devices and takes care of me in the dark living room light for peace.
Bluetooth via smartphone or tablet will also work perfectly. Only the apps are still suffering teething problems but this is place hopefully with the next update.
Negative which could lead to deduction of points I can not think of. Anyone looking for a sound bar with external sub in slim design with simple operation and configuration options, should resort to this article. Who does not require sub, should look at the other mentioned times.
