Merry Christmas II You "is the second Christmas album by Mariah Carey. In fairness, I must admit that I have this album faced skeptical at first. Because with the exquisite 1994's previous album Merry Christmas" Mariah Carey clearly has the (own) set standards very high and generally to tend to sink to the other Christmas albums in hopeless kitsch. That this (just) need not be the case with Mariah Carey, she has at least now, clearly demonstrated by the the Christmas classic of modern times All I Want For Christmas ". Nevertheless, I almost needed a whole year to get me to buy this album. And what can I say? Ms. Carey has just carried on where they left off in 1994. Once again it proves that it is an excellent composer. Since merge melodies and harmonies into one another and her voice shines now through much more mature tones, what no less vociferously wirkt.Sie it sees itself sent to take back. A Sometimes less is more and you will not shake the feeling that Ms. Carey has found a vocal maturity. Used on Merry Christmas "still clearly higher pitch and shined with jazzy gospel arrangements, Merry Christmas to You II stands" in its simple beauty. There are recessed, almost classically graceful Jazz & R & B ballads that give this album its perfect nuance. Almost makes you feel transported back to the glamorous Hollywood of the 50s. What makes curious to hear this voice in old-fashioned jazz arrangements and the desire for a jazz album can be loud. Conclusion: A (once again) successful Christmas album of Mariah Carey. She's just champion at capturing the Christmas spirit while not to sound cheesy. Mariah at the very best.
