Marina Diamandis delighted us in 2010 after several EPs at last with her brilliant debut album ... and all Diamonds can look forward to better simple as it gets! I have had no album where I'm really looking forward to every single song when I hear him. Marina does not mince his words and convinces with extraordinary sounds that completely split off from the crowd. Marina is also due to their absolute creative texts a great insiration. The lyrics are not from the usual topics such as heartache and relationships or parties, as with most other but of völlich other topics such as the outsider existence in '' The Outsider '' or '' Are You Satisfied '' where it asks the listener whether This is really happy with his life. Vocally Marina is one of the greats. She plays with her voice, sounding so convincing and authentic that you have you just listen. I have the album jetz little over a month and hear it almost every day and am always on. There are great powerful earwigs like my Favorites '' Oh No! '' & '' Girls '', the first Germany-Single '' Hollywood '', the powerfully-catchy '' Shampain '' and the great debut single '' Mowgli's Road ''. There is also some slower tracks that lack power in any way, such as the wonderful '' I Am Not A Robot ', the melankolische' Roostless '', the wonderful Sunday morning migraine song '' Obsessions 'and the sonorous' 'Numb'. More great midtempo numbers are '' Hermit The Frog '' & '' Guilty '. The song '' The Family Jewels '', which is available on iTunes as a bonus track and the 'have on the American version of existing' 'Seventeeen' also highly recommended. I must say I did not expect much of a newcomer, but was totally surprised to positive. No song can be compared with another and Marina is simply unique! This artist should really be allocated more attention in my opinion. You should aufjedenfalll remain as it is and I'm looking forward to their next album! In conclusion, I can only say: Buying this album! Your wedte great pleasure therefore have!
