Mediocre ... (Update)

I've been looking forward to a long Drive Club and certainly had high expectations for the game, however, the relativized due to the numerous streaky magazine tests before receipt of the Game. Nevertheless, I have lack of racing game alternatives decided on the PS4 for the game. However can not really convince the present version. Tracks and cars look indeed great, the ride is in order and the perspective behind the windshield is in my opinion perfect, but it has somehow always feel to do not have a full game. The presentation overall is very boring, vehicle routes and there is a lack of variety. Meanwhile, at least the previously announced dynamic weather system via an update available.

- Beautifully designed vehicles
- Graphically great distances with great foresight
- Competitive opponents (the partly mutually make life difficult)
- Five different perspectives (interior, just behind the windscreen, bonnet, bumper, two perspectives at different distances behind the vehicle)
- Exotic cars
- Challenges during the race give additional motivation
- Dynamic weather

Contra
- Hardly any variation in single player mode
- Locations are partly very similar (Scotland, Norway, Canada)
- There is a lack street circuits
- The vehicle selection is on one side (no vintage, no muscle cars, etc.)
- The overall presentation is boring
- The tracks are too narrow, so the length is often just an illusion
- The penal system is sometimes unfairly
- Music is extremely monotonous and boring

Conclusion: An absolutely mediocre game. After a month playing period my motivation was to play this game no more available. Meanwhile has the dynamic weather and great new vehicles (especially Caterham) improved somewhat this. To now and then to race in a beautiful landscape I make the game lately back inside more often. Nevertheless, still 3 out of 5 stars. There is still a lack of presentation and innovation.
