Supplement: The spout is round, slightly wide, it comes to approximately 2 cm width, the hot water out for normal cups not really a problem, you may the kettle but not tilt too much, as everywhere else, even at the edge of the lid comes out of water.
The unit is relatively hot; if you pour water twice in succession and want to bring to a boil, that is a problem, because you have to attack the lid for complete opening and yes that is just too hot.

I use the kettle now somewhat rare, perhaps by my impression has it improved somewhat, but the problems with the opening mechanism have laid back and I have improved the rating from 3 to 4 stars, actually the best kettle, I've ever had, any quirks had any ....
Supplement November 2012:
After all, the kettle is still working reliably, the calcium deposits inside are ugly (stick anywhere, even on the plastic inner wall) but can be removed easily. Unfortunately, the device emits a lot of water vapor, until it finally shut down.
Addendum October 2013
The opening mechanism of the lid is completely broke down a few weeks ago, the cook still works flawlessly, I can replace the cover still manually with a little effort, but that's not even the point of a kettle. The lid has multiple daily opening and closing after less than 2 years and no longer participated. Nevertheless, this kettle has lasted longer than some others, but I wonder if I did not continue to bring my steel pot on the induction plate water to a boil, but takes almost 9 minutes. If anyone can recommend a nearly indestructible kettle, please report :-)
