Rarely enough succeeds in a band in succession 3 high deliver good albums. Muse manages with "Absolution" seemingly's play. Already during the first hearing, I was impressed by the uniformity. "Absolution" is the first album by Muse, from which one can argue that it is packed front to back with earwigs. They never were catchy, never they were better. However: This CD may also be some fan of the first two CD's alienating. Because Matthew Bellamy and Co. have reduced the spectacular guitar solos, the aggressiveness and the experimentation considerably. Instead, there are many strings, electronics and more in relation to previously altogether tamer and smoother songs. For me, I can say to my full enthusiasm. Outstanding are "Time is running out", "Sing for Absolution", "Stockholm Syndrome", "Butterflies & Hurricanes" and "Ruled by Secrecy" - as I said though, the album has no weak point. Muse show in "Absolution" a significantly greater maturity and a careful changing lanes toward mainstream or at least larger radio capability. One of my Top 5 this year - and I'm looking forward to the tour!
