The first makes "Days of War", only one and a half minute instrumental intro, which leaves you wanting more and then goes to the second track. "Change or die" is a real board, provides a powerful electric guitar use and driving drums. Third, we have "Hollywood Whore", which comes a bit slower. In particular, the first few seconds of sound very soft, but that's changing fast. On the song I really like the chorus, because it stays in your head well and encourages to sing along. "I almost told you That I Loved You" is the first title, the not quite so convinced me. However, the song has to get started a pretty cool percussion and really bad the song is not. The next track is "Lifeline" - very catchy melody - and "Had Enough". This is the first song on the album more quiet and offers real catchy tune quality with convincing melody. Although a ballad, I can very well imagine the live track also. "Live This Down" I think of all the songs on the most average and convinces me not really. It reminds me too much of the old Papa Roach times. "March Out of the Darkness" begins very calmly, but then faster and I like that again really good. The pretty fast "Into the Light" convinced me, however, again not as good, but the song has a top-line middle part. "Carry me" is a very beautiful ballad and is followed by "Nights of Love". As the name suggests, here the title of the intro is taken textually again. In addition to "Hollywood Whore" one of the strongest songs on the album. The conclusion of the 46-minute album makes "State of Emergency". Here goes again right from the post. Again, the middle part is particularly worth highlighting, because it comes up with a great percussion. The last few seconds of the CD can then finish calmly.
In conclusion I can say that Papa Roach has become a really serious, mature rock band that counts currently my absolute favorites. Although "Metamorphosis" is not consistently great, but real dropouts can be reported. Above all, the album is not boring. Every song is completely self-contained and can not think of a "Oh, I've heard that before but".
This album I can really recommend to anyone who already liked the predecessor!
