Ray has been a strong opinion and expresses its views also clearly expressed.
I was there first quenched in many ways, then provoking.
I agree not all his views, but look much more differentiated since I read the book.
As an example I take the issue of shoes:
Ray believes that good for hiking sneakers or even running shoes are usually the most appropriate.
Walking shoes or even boots he describes as too heavy and stiff. This is me just a little too strongly polarized,
have boots and lighter hiking boots quite its advantages.
But really annoying is that this book is apparently addressed only to US citizens.
Ounce, inch, yard and gallon should already know. The geography of the United States should be roughly known.
Even a little sad:
He repeated again and again. The theme of shoes, for example, picked up every few pages back.
Conclusion:
I have read, thought, learned, sometimes chuckled and will use the winter to me to tinker one or the other piece of equipment itself.
