Meanwhile, I have the Milestone since about 4 weeks (incl. A first update to the Android 2.0.1 version). I call my emails directly through the internet from (use either Google email even Exchange) and am really excited about the touchscreen + QWERTY keyboard combination. The use of the Internet is the Dolphin browser super fast (soon supposed to Opera Mobile for Android to be available in the Market).
The Android apps can be downloaded from Google Market's play. Before downloading the store indicates every time which services and data the app uses any. So there are no surprises. Are necessary services turned off by asking smart apps, whether they are allowed to start it.
And last of all about the quality of the device: The Motorola feels solid and has a top processing. Therefore, the Milestone is also often taken for a project demo to customers. (In the leather flap pocket of PDAir is to handle the machine even more enjoyable)
