Dookie (Audio CD)

Customer Review

And no joke punk within the meaning of pop bands like Good Charlotte or Sum 41, which of course also have some good songs, but simply Punk in complete conviction. After Green Day have collected 1994 their previously released albums only fame in the underground hit "Dookie" like a bomb. To date, about 15 million copies have been sold, as part of the "American Idiot" -Hypes one or the other million is probably still to come. This all happens fully rightly so, because all the songs are catchy, managed and can be heard again. Even if one is actually just in a bad mood, a cheerful songs about topics such as the problems in adolescence or boredom at once, everything perfect punk songs, but also have good melodies. Although all the songs are managed (except for maybe the funny and not too serious hidden track "All By Myself", at the Tré Cool allowed to sing, but the song may well not be taken too seriously), but some are still a piece better than the rest. These are the dominated Mike Dirnts Bass "Longview", "welsome Paradise" which was as slightly worse because cheaper produces unconverted version already on "Kerplunk" plan, the all-time classic "Basket Case", perhaps the best Green Day- song ever, "She" and the semi-ballad "When I Come Around" which is still played at each of their concerts. But the other songs are also very good and "Dookie" is recommended every punk and rock fan, but not rock fans will certainly not be entirely averse to this masterpiece because of the very successful melodies and Billie Joe hypnotic song because "Dookie "is not only one of the most important albums of the 90's (it led the punk revival one), but probably one of the best rock CDs ever! So, I babble enough, now you should immediately order this brilliant CD and enjoy!
