In my computers are 8GB DDR3 Kingston and a 250GB Samsung 840 Evo. I have the 8 GB instead of 4 GB indulged because I maybe would like to use the Rapid Drive function of Samsung to test the RAM as a buffer for the SSD to increase the data throughput. But so far not been tested as it can theoretically lead to data loss.
The PassMark benchmarks in power have shown me what level moves the processor of Zotac systems in about:
My Phenom X4 9550-2537 points
Zotac Nano AQ02 - 2540 points
Zotac Nano AQ01 - 1912 points
So my 25% would move below the current level, so I could live I thought since I'm running because I have no time for games and hardly something rechenintesives.
The fan should be due to the small size according to some tests a slightly higher noise cause I can not confirm. I use the supplied bracket for the back of the monitor and in office mode is the computer in a completely silent room as loud as a 3.5-inch hard drive is idle, ie without Geklacker, really just the sound of turning the engine. Under full load it is a bit noisy but that comes at me just playing, compared to the old computer with a huge fan (400mm) and a graphics card fan nervigem the unit is super quiet.
The gaming performance is useful comparison when you play no games. I have to test a few times angetestet without any tools to provide accurate Framraten. At 1680x1050, I came to this results: Grid approx.30 fps, Trine 30 fps, Skyrim about 20-25 fps, Dragon Age Origins 25-30 fps. With the exception of Trine tested everything with minimal details.
The Windows operating is yet fluid enough thanks to SSD. The launch complex programs I think 2-3 seconds slower than before, but I can say bad in retrospect. Most start within 1-2 seconds, Firefox or Outlook approve more than 5 seconds but this may be due to the many expansions and add-ins.
I was pleasantly surprised by the Gigabit Ethernet and WLAN AC. Throughput to my NAS is faster than before, I'll be reading at 80 MB / s. which is also the maximum of my NAS. I get at least on stately 6.5-7 MB / s, tested with a Fritz box 7490 to 1.5 meters over WLAN. Here's what I have not been tested: USB 3.0 throughput, infrared, Bluetooth.
One problem that I noticed very quickly, is that DisplayPort can be really annoying. I have two monitors each with DVI and bought the appropriate adapter cable. If the DP port hanging monitor in standby enter or off then all the windows will be shifted on to the next screen. That brings me regularly a program to crash. Unfortunately, I have the advice on the net so far not able to apply successfully to turn off the monitor recognition under W7 64bit. In Windows 8 will be a problem that supposedly.
Overall I am very satisfied with the device. When I consider that the price is now currently at only 180 Euro is this is really a very well-rounded package.
+ Quiet
+ Sparingly
+ Conditionally suitable for gaming
+ Monitor mount allows the PC in different orientations hang
+ Many interfaces
+ High data throughput for LAN and WLAN
+2.5 "SATA possible
-Displayport Is annoying in multi-monitor operation under Windows 7
