Mini Leica image quality with surprising

Certainly one can argue whether it is a "real" Leica. The rangefinder cameras and its history, it has not directly to do something. But it looks like a Leica. This becomes noticeable in the street, passers-by to take a picture right in the face, no one cares. This is the sympathy bonus of Leica, or you believe it would be an old camera and takes them seriously.
The same with a full frame DSLR is different: The photographed people crouch, holding hands or arm in front of the face, anxious or angry react.

The housing is made of metal us feels heavy and high quality, but weighs less than 400g. The turn-on speed is acceptable, the point and shoot for I feel as good, my old 40D is slower, only the D800 faster.
I am surprised by the image quality that is as good as my D7000 (7D, D300, see also the report on colorfoto.de). Must accept it with the fixed focal length 35mm in accordance with small format (full frame). But goes well, because passersby react friendly - now I know why I need a push in a DSLR to photograph people.

The best part is the handiness, always there, the DSLR is in the backpack, the X2 in your pocket. Compared to other compact course expensive, but a Leica.

PS: The firmware update to version 1.1 can not initialize as indicated by holding down the Info button while turning, but by holding the Info button AND the menu.
