are fond of the, haptic great and there is no vile plastic that could go blind.
already the listing of contributors can let melt in your ears:
Jan Garbarek - tenor saxophone, soprano saxophone
Rainer Brüninghaus - piano
Eberhard Weber - Bass
Nana Vasconcelos - percussion
Manu Katché - drums
Bugge Wesseltoft - Synthesizer
Ingor Ánte Ailo Gaup - Voice
when Jan Garbarek plays along with the large Eberhard Weber always arises a fascinating synergy effect, in my opinion, the two harmonize fantastically, as on all co-productions between the two is erhörbar.
all other are indeed a fixed size in garbarekuniversum until Ingor Gaup, a Norwegian artist (also called overlap) from the Sami people, but the fits and enthusiastic seamlessly with its unique singing.
so one takes also the title track of the same number of parade voiced Mari Boine (also Samin) "Gula Gula" her and transforms them full of inner glow, and also the rest of the album is just great then a flowing chamber jazz piece.
a fine rhythm spun Garbarek sets its elegant and distinctive saxophone lines, always blown squeaky clean, always pure beauty of sound spreading, never annoying or aggressive.
all sounds plus outstanding, the sax is physically in the room, all sounds captured highly realistic and with a lot of air in between.
certainly one of the (many) highlights the work Garbarek, nice that there is now in this edition again!
