I ordered the stick to on a dual boot laptop with Win 8.1 and Linux Mint does not always need to change the wireless stick 17 when changing the operating system - my DLink Stick is not supported by Linux, as Forum research showed.

Win 8.1 recognized the stick, but only after a restart. In Mint I was the unit despite hours of forum search not move to build a Wi-Fi connection - the stick was recognized in the network manager, but built despite entering the correct WPA2 keys no connection to.
