My measurement (with UT-803 of Unit) revealed a current of 1.2 amperes at best, at 12 volts, so not even all 15 Watt Power ... Whether the producer or distributor that would mean their customers do not notice anyway, it would be attached to exercise more honesty in the information. Where else can perform these exaggerations out yet. In this case the customer buys worst case add an excessive power supply, which then indeed unnecessary reserves has, but does not become a danger at least. If, however, would an exaggeration similar in power supplies, this would probably undersized for the application, which can then be literally a fire hazard.
But as a buyer you want to get the brightness, you would expect due to technical details. It would have to finally sit very annoying after installation then in semi-darkness.
even the LED strips and the control electronics are included, for which I have now not extensively taken position here, though working properly, but it brings the LED Strip despite its 600 LEDs just to mere 15 watts. Just like an optically identical product (Auralum 5M White SMD 3528 600 Leds 12V 48W 2400LM IP65 Waterproof Flexible LED Strip Ribbon Bar) which has a very contradictory elec. Specified values: so, however, the strip should require an output of 48 watts at 12V only max. 3 amps ... what then 36 watts correspond. But everything is just air and foam, more than the 15 watts are not in it.
