I have about 5 had the iron in use. After about 3 months, there was a leak and began between housing and soleplate to trickle down. Now after 5 months nothing works. When expert break the unit also equal to several plastic holders from so broke that one can screw together not again.
This shall be German workmanship ??? I call it rather German botch from China or something.
For me, this iron is an absolute bad design and not 5 euros worth. You only have problems with it and by the loss of water that thing is dangerous.
I therefore say: !!! DO NOT BUY !!!!
