Now, after more than a year "BoomBlaster abstinence" and the very unsuccessful RD-HA3, presented mid-September JVC finally a "real" (I thought at least) BoomBlaster with fully integrated iPod dock before !! The design was indeed very promising and very reminiscent of the "Original - RV-NB10", but unfortunately the technical data (height, weight, wattage) reminded more of the RD-HA3, as, on the classic zippered NB10 of, was larger and even more powerful much more difficult than the New ...
I, however, did not let the time being swayed, paper is well known patient.
When I saw the device in the store for the first time, my worst fears were confirmed - the device that is mistakenly called "Boom Blaster" is processed super bad !!! The CD & IPod flap and the entire housing extremely soggy and looks more like a cheap copy of the original !!
At the sound quality I need -angesichts the processing- probably not saying much: it sounds exactly the way it looks - modest !!!! If you turn up the volume to about level 17 and the bass is at about 2/3 of the maximum power, all starts to rattle and clank on.
Sorry, JVC but that was probably nothing !! Please builds but finally a "real" BoomBlaster and not a cheap imitation !!!
