I also find it a pity that only a spoon for 200ml solution is settled and not for the usual 250ml. Since it is better to use a little more salt than too little, I always cant 1 1/2 spoon in the nasal douche.
A little tip: For a buffered nasal rinse solution as obtained by Emser-Nasal, you should mix the 250g AMV Nasal (98% NaCl) with 95 g of sodium bicarbonate (eg Kaiser Natron). Which provides an alkaline pH that is optimal for the mucous membrane and cilia. Sodium there in drugstores / food markets very favorable and ensures further savings)
