This double album was the first Greatest Hits album by Neil Young and covers the years 1966 to 1976. The text of the Amazon editorial says that the album of 1971, and also includes songs from his second album Harvest. Well! Such misinformation from the Amazon editorial, a realization gratifying that there is the possibility here to write and read customer reviews. Decade is from 1976 and Harvest is the fourth album by Neil Young! Unlike many, many other best-of compilations this album has 6 unreleased songs. It contains pieces of Buffalo Springfield, CSN & Y, the Stills-Young Band and his solo albums. The booklet with comments from Young about the individual songs and photos is excellent. The sound quality of the Greatest Hits from 2004 is better, especially on DVD, but Decade is clearly a better choice because it contains more good songs. Sugar Mountain, Soldier and Campaigner make this CD obligatory for fans. Opportunity listeners will appreciate Heart of Gold, Old man, Cortez The Killer and Long May You Run. In addition to Harvest Decade is an ideal, inexpensive entry into Neil Young universe!
